Erdi Nurdag was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Üzümlü's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Sungurbey Çoğahan fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güney JK's protests and gave Sungurbey Çoğahan a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Güney JK's Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu got control of the ball when Erdi Nurdag tried to sneak it across the goal line. Güral Pınarbaşı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arda Ozan Atasan was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Üzümlü booed when Güney JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Emre Evvah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Ozan Atasan in the 70th minute of play.
