The referee showed Tolga Buminhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Karataş Spor booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolga Buminhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Köksal Maksum in the 86th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Abdulmelik Taşkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulmelik Taşkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Köksal Maksum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karataş Spor played a much better game than Fenerbahçe and deserved their victory. The Fenerbahçe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
