The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emre Yoruk saved HEAVENGUARDS F.C. from getting behind. The throw-in from Aytunç Şehzade in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fenerbahçe's Tolga Buminhan. Abdulmelik Taşkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferit Deniz in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Gencalp Özoğuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulmelik Taşkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tolga Buminhan hit a great ball. Abdulmelik Taşkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencalp Özoğuz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emre Yoruk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedrettin Canol in the 34th minute of play forced HEAVENGUARDS F.C.'s goalkeeper Emre Yoruk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Kayacan Derinöz. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gencalp Özoğuz managed to get in a good position for a shot. HEAVENGUARDS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gencalp Özoğuz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulmelik Taşkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, HEAVENGUARDS F.C.'s Ferit Deniz got a free kick in the 60th minute. Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Emre Yoruk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emre Yoruk made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencalp Özoğuz in the 69th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Abdulmelik Taşkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Gencalp Özoğuz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdulmelik Taşkan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 76th minute, Aytunç Şehzade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Gencalp Özoğuz made a precise shot to the right of Abdulmelik Taşkan. Fenerbahçe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Mustafa Cumhur Şehzat took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Emre Yoruk to make any attempt to save it. After 93 minutes of play Fenerbahçe's Kayacan Derinöz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdulmelik Taşkan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abdulmelik Taşkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencalp Özoğuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. HEAVENGUARDS F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
