Emre Yoruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Başaran Sancaktar in the 8th minute of play. After 8 played minutes HEAVENGUARDS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Utku Kayan. After a defensive mix-up in TuRKiYe's zone, Gencalp Özoğuz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sinan Ceri came out of the goal and Gencalp Özoğuz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Utku Kayan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Arda Göksel Tufan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. HEAVENGUARDS F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TuRKiYe the free kick. Başaran Sancaktar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emre Yoruk having to interfere. Emre Yoruk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Başaran Sancaktar in the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arda Göksel Tufan got free with Emre Yoruk in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the match, TuRKiYe's Arda Göksel Tufan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emre Yoruk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Başaran Sancaktar made the kick off in the second half. If Arda Göksel Tufan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Arda Göksel Tufan put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Emre Yoruk.
