Mustafa Oğuz Ungur charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Oğuz Ungur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Ekinözü got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Oğuz Ungur. In the 17th minute of the match Aybek Türkeş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hıncal Sözer skillfully saved the ball. Orhan Kıvanç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Taci Saver ran back to his position shaking his head. Cuma Sakman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taci Saver, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Cuma Sakman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian-Eduardo Ronaldo in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Mehmet Çağrı Osmanoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ʄც ךסףן booed when Ekinözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taci Saver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Orhan Kıvanç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ʄც ךסףן's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Kıvanç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bedir Ünlü stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hıncal Sözer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bedir Ünlü's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Bedir Ünlü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hıncal Sözer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Ekinözü got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Oğuz Ungur. Hıncal Sözer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedir Ünlü, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Hıncal Sözer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedir Ünlü in the 65th minute of play. Hıncal Sözer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedir Ünlü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orhan Kıvanç took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hıncal Sözer. Hıncal Sözer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Bedir Ünlü's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hıncal Sözer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. When the match was over Ekinözü could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ʄც ךסףן throughout the match.
