Güner Özcam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Okanay Saatçioğlu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Karamürsel SK's zone, Fetih Sanat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Besim Eyüpoğlu came out of the goal and Fetih Sanat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Fetih Sanat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Besim Eyüpoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Karamürsel SK's goal looked a bit too open when Fetih Sanat came free, but Besim Eyüpoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Güven Uğursoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Besim Eyüpoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güven Uğursoy took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Besim Eyüpoğlu. Besim Eyüpoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Bilal Kemalettin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Malatya's Cihat Tunçhan got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Karamürsel SK got a corner. Malatya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dündar Vedat ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Malatya booed when Karamürsel SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Seyfi Topuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Karamürsel SK booed when Malatya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilal Kemalettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malatya's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
