After a defensive mix-up in Kinik JK's zone, Necat Başat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökçe Öksak came out of the goal and Necat Başat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencal Soyselçuk in the 33rd minute of play forced Orta's goalkeeper Fahrettin Süvari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güral Ümit kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gökçe Öksak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bulut Taykut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tugay İlbey scored 2-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fahrettin Süvari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Kinik JK booed when Orta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehdi Kocay didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları to make the kick off. Bektaş Özozan's late challenge caught a Orta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bektaş Özozan helped the player get up and apologised. Bektaş Özozan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Orta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
