With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seyfettin Gürtuna saved Baltalimani from getting behind. In the 12th match minute, Baltalimani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demirhan Boyraz to maneuver through the defense. Haldun Günay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Kağan Sargın's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fahrettin Süvari firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Sümer Özyurek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Baltalimani's goal looked a bit too open when Onuralp İlgi came free, but Seyfettin Gürtuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdulvahit Yenay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fahrettin Süvari having to make a save. 29 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emre Osmanoğulları cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. In the 44th minute Sümer Özyurek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyfettin Gürtuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
