The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The A320 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batuhan Muhammed should have stopped the shot. After having played for 17 minutes, Muhittin Özkutay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A320's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muhittin Özkutay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gani Oran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind FENERBAHÇE's goalkeeper Orhun Ersed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doruk Velican to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Okaner Uludağ to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osman Karacabey got free with Orhun Ersed in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to A320 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Batıray Bardakçı hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in A320's zone, Ahmet Hayri Sayraç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batuhan Muhammed came out of the goal and Ahmet Hayri Sayraç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Muhittin Özkutay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orhun Ersed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osman Karacabey in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FENERBAHÇE's Zeynel Ungan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Muhittin Özkutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osman Karacabey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orhun Ersed having to make a save. Osman Karacabey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Osman Karacabey made a precise shot to the right of Orhun Ersed. FENERBAHÇE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Ahmet Hayri Sayraç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Battal Seyyit Usluer fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A320's protests and gave Battal Seyyit Usluer a yellow card for diving instead. A320 were furious when Aşır Yücealp was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th minute, Muhittin Özkutay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Hayri Sayraç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Hayri Sayraç struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Batuhan Muhammed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHÇE. In the 92nd minute, Cumhur Salikbey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gani Oran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gani Oran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FENERBAHÇE players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented A320 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
