In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Akays FC's goalkeeper Alper Dilsaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of 10un Takımı booed when Akays FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kayhan Bilgiç didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, 10un Takımı's Yetkiner Uluşahin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 18 played minutes, Akays FC's Mazhar Baytüze shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Akın Onar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Akays FC reached it. In the 23rd minute, Hulki Sabeddin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Akın Onar, passed just outside the right post. The attack was good, but when Orhan Dikici in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 24th match minute, 10un Takımı was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günay Kayıboylu to maneuver through the defense. Akın Onar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulki Sabeddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nafiz Ayıkoğlu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Akays FC's zone, Sabahattin Kultigin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabahattin Kultigin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mücahit Nesip stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Hulki Sabeddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akın Onar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Orhan Dikici came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Akays FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhan Dikici couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes 10un Takımı got a freekick which was hit by Günay Kayıboylu. Orhan Dikici struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Akın Onar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Akays FC. If Hulki Sabeddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orhan Dikici in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akın Onar saved 10un Takımı from getting behind. The supporters of Akays FC booed when 10un Takımı was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökcan Taçyıldız didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akın Onar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulki Sabeddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, Sertaç Baykam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Akays FC's goalkeeper Alper Dilsaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabahattin Kultigin. Mücahit Nesip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hulki Sabeddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
