The Bahcesaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Hakkı Ongun should have stopped the shot. Abdulbaki Taygun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bünyamin Osmanoğulları in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Besim Çetintürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Selami İzgü was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Bahcesaray booed when Gündogmus SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Besim Çetintürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Bahcesaray's Mehmet Hakkı Ongun got control of the ball when Hazım Kuddusi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Selami İzgü had several of the Bahcesaray's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Mehmet Hakkı Ongun as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mehmet Hakkı Ongun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selami İzgü, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Bünyamin Osmanoğulları cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Abdulbaki Taygun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Bünyamin Osmanoğulları hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
