Cemal Aygüneş went to the cornerflag to take it. Cemal Aygüneş made a great header on Gündogmus SK's corner, it was just that Batmanpetrol's Boğaçhan Aktay managed to reach the ball for a save. Nihat Selahaddin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Boğaçhan Aktay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Cuma Zeki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nihat Selahaddin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gündogmus SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nihat Selahaddin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boğaçhan Aktay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Batmanpetrol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Hazım Kuddusi scored to the left of an out of position Boğaçhan Aktay, making the score, 2-0. Hazım Kuddusi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nihat Selahaddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nihat Selahaddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boğaçhan Aktay having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hazım Kuddusi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Batmanpetrol's Alperen Aktürk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulbaki Taygun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Batmanpetrol getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hakkı Deniz Bera hit a great ball. Cumali Ozanalp kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Nihat Selahaddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Boğaçhan Aktay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
