Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) BastırAnkaragücü's Nuralp Yalım started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in BastırAnkaragücü's zone, Abayhan Ecemiş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eşref Uluçkan came out of the goal and Abayhan Ecemiş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute Ziya Öznur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barış Özgenay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ziya Öznur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barış Özgenay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziya Öznur, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. BastırAnkaragücü's Eşref Uluçkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abayhan Ecemiş in the 15th minute of play. Abayhan Ecemiş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eşref Uluçkan having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Abayhan Ecemiş elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kusadasi's Barış Özgenay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziya Öznur in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selami Bakır during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BastırAnkaragücü booed when Kusadasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selami Bakır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Poyraz Tutku struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Eşref Uluçkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kusadasi. Poyraz Tutku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eşref Uluçkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abayhan Ecemiş in the 32nd minute of play forced BastırAnkaragücü's goalkeeper Eşref Uluçkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poyraz Tutku could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Eşref Uluçkan made a huge save. After 36 played minutes Kusadasi got a freekick which was hit by Erkan Savaşer. The supporters of Kusadasi booed when BastırAnkaragücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sinan Kınık didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuralp Yalım charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuralp Yalım the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes BastırAnkaragücü got a freekick which was hit by Nuralp Yalım. Poyraz Tutku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Abayhan Ecemiş made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BastırAnkaragücü's Aysan Özdamar got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Kusadasi's Ferid Şennur couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BastırAnkaragücü. When Kusadasi's Abayhan Ecemiş in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BastırAnkaragücü's goalie prevented a goal. The nice shot from Ziya Öznur in the 60thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Barış Özgenay had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Barış Özgenay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuralp Yalım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Kusadasi's Abayhan Ecemiş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eşref Uluçkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barış Özgenay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ziya Öznur in the 69th minute. Nuralp Yalım had several of the Kusadasi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Barış Özgenay as he didn't even see the shot coming. 77 minutes into the match, BastırAnkaragücü's goal looked a bit too open when Poyraz Tutku came free, but Eşref Uluçkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Abayhan Ecemiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eşref Uluçkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kusadasi were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
