The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of gezgin56:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Babaeski:s goal. Halil Can İdris had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Menderes Taşboğa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the gezgin56 defense, Menderes Taşboğa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halil Can İdris. The gezgin56 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halil Can İdris should have stopped the shot. Halil Can İdris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğaner İsfendiyar, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mustafa Haydar Kutlubay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agah Gagauz having to interfere. Agah Gagauz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Haydar Kutlubay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doğaner İsfendiyar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Halil Can İdris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Muharrem Sarp during the 31st minute. The gezgin56 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mustafa Haydar Kutlubay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Mustafa Haydar Kutlubay notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Babaeski's Agah Gagauz. Agah Gagauz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mustafa Haydar Kutlubay might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agah Gagauz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Haydar Kutlubay ran back to his position shaking his head. Babaeski's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
