When Erim Cuma came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Palandöken Kartalları fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erim Cuma couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Canakkale's Remzi Ötüken got a free kick in the 20th minute. Erim Cuma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Karadeniz Bayman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tansel Kırgız saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Gökmen Karar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Erim Cuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Enver Topuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Macit Yoruç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tansel Kırgız having to interfere. Enver Topuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erim Cuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karadeniz Bayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Erim Cuma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karadeniz Bayman might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tansel Kırgız. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karadeniz Bayman ran back to his position shaking his head. When Zühtü Samin fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palandöken Kartalları's protests and gave Zühtü Samin a yellow card for diving instead. Zühtü Samin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Canakkale's Osman Tankan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palandöken Kartalları. Remzi Ötüken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tansel Kırgız having to interfere. Macit Yoruç struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Tansel Kırgız didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canakkale. In the 90th match minute, Canakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İslam Yaygır to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Canakkale players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palandöken Kartalları.
