The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Gökceyazi FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yalihüyük:s goal. Gökceyazi FK's Hurşit Tokhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peker Atlas in the 18th minute of play. Hurşit Tokhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Kenan Kiyas in the 19th minute of the match. Peker Atlas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hurşit Tokhan having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match Kürşat Sayyad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hüseyin İnciroğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hurşit Tokhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Kenan Kiyas in the 27th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Peker Atlas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gökceyazi FK's Hurşit Tokhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hüseyin İnciroğlu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eray Birge. After 33 played minutes Yalihüyük got a freekick which was hit by Raik Songur. Hakkı Kenan Kiyas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Atlas in the 38th minute of play forced Gökceyazi FK's goalkeeper Hurşit Tokhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yenal Şerhenk hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fevzi Kayrar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Şeref Sebih did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hüseyin İnciroğlu 44 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peker Atlas made a kick off. If Hakkı Kenan Kiyas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Atlas in the 61st minute of play forced Gökceyazi FK's goalkeeper Hurşit Tokhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yalihüyük's Hakkı Kenan Kiyas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Yalihüyük's Battal Cüneyt Tansoy got a free kick in the 67th minute. Hurşit Tokhan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Yalihüyük's Peker Atlas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gökceyazi FK's zone, Adnan Neval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hurşit Tokhan came out of the goal and Adnan Neval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Peker Atlas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gökceyazi FK's Hurşit Tokhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Yalihüyük booed when Gökceyazi FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yenal Şerhenk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Yalihüyük could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gökceyazi FK throughout the match.
