Ahmet Davut Cantez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Taner Rıfat having to make a save. 12 minutes into the game, Ahmet Davut Cantez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Taner Rıfat. Ahmet Davut Cantez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Taner Rıfat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kubilay Terim, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Taner Rıfat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atay Tezveren in the 22nd minute. There was no doubt that LİVERPOOL were the better team. LİVERPOOL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
