After having played for 30 minutes, Bora Ökmener managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bucaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bora Ökmener was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tolgahan Irak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Şansal Zabit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bora Ökmener to strike the kick off in the second half. When Aykan Buyruk fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bucaspor's protests and gave Aykan Buyruk a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bucaspor's Aykan Buyruk got a free kick in the 54th minute. Bora Ökmener kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Aykan Buyruk was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent.
