Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Turabi Asalet started the match with the kick off. In the 12thth minute of the game Turabi Asalet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niksarspor's Mehmet Akif Taykurt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Niksarspor getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. İlyas Tolga Sezmen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Niksarspor's Ahmet Reha Renan got a free kick in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bahattin Gündüz during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave artı a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rüştü Sevgen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Niksarspor's Mehmet Akif Taykurt. 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Niksarspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Akif Taykurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atay Torgay. When Peyami Sargut fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niksarspor's protests and gave Peyami Sargut a yellow card for diving instead. Peyami Sargut hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ahmet Koralp Hoyrat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duran Yörük's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Alper Çelen hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Duran Yörük sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Özden Yerlikaya made the kick off in the second half. If Özden Yerlikaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Koralp Hoyrat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duran Yörük in the 56th minute. The supporters of Niksarspor booed when artı was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alper Çelen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özden Yerlikaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Koralp Hoyrat having to interfere. After a rather tough play, artı's Demir Umut got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ahmet Koralp Hoyrat acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from İlyas Tolga Sezmen. In the 76th match minute, Niksarspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlyas Tolga Sezmen to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Niksarspor's Özden Yerlikaya dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Duran Yörük's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Koralp Hoyrat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Özden Yerlikaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to artı getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Demir Umut hit a great ball. With a little luck, artı's Ahmet Koralp Hoyrat got control of the ball when Duran Yörük tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Niksarspor's Özden Yerlikaya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Koralp Hoyrat. That made the score 2-3 after 96 minutes of play. Niksarspor played a much better game than artı and deserved their victory. The artı players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
