Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rüstem Cumhur made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Baycan Başaydın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zonguldak Terakkispor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Rüstem Cumhur got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Yağız Oksay charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yağız Oksay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rıfkı İcmal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cezmi Paşa. Yıldız SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zonguldak Terakkispor's zone, Olcay Peker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selami Tevfik came out of the goal and Olcay Peker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baycan Başaydın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezmi Paşa having to interfere. When Baycan Başaydın came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Zonguldak Terakkispor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baycan Başaydın couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Yıldız SK's Olcay Peker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Selami Tevfik. Selami Tevfik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 28th minute, Yağız Oksay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zonguldak Terakkispor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Yıldız SK. Mustafa Birol Sonalp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Selami Tevfik. 2-1. Olcay Pekers short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Selami Tevfik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Olcay Peker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Selami Tevfik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olcay Peker in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Zonguldak Terakkispor's Alişan Dalokay got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Baycan Başaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezmi Paşa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Mustafa Birol Sonalp hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Cezmi Paşa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rıfkı İcmal. If Olcay Peker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olcay Peker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Selami Tevfik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olcay Peker in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selami Tevfik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yağız Oksay took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selami Tevfik. Selami Tevfik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Olcay Peker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mehmet Halis Usare fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zonguldak Terakkispor's protests and gave Mehmet Halis Usare a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Zonguldak Terakkispor getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mehmet Halis Usare hit a great ball. Selami Tevfik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olcay Peker in the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olcay Peker in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selami Tevfik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rüstem Cumhur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Baycan Başaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezmi Paşa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selami Tevfik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüstem Cumhur, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
