The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Babak's goalkeeper Şansal Çiftçibaşı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erdem Balabey. If Songur Erzan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zekeriya Ercan in the 16th minute of play forced Tortum's goalkeeper Ali Kağan Nusret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19th play minutes Songur Erzan shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ali Kağan Nusret and just under the crossbar into goal. Güngör Sabih kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Mehmet Ediz Ergener was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Tortum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Songur Erzan to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tortum booed when Babak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battal Cüneyt Canol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 minutes of play, Tortum's Aktuğ Şensoy made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şansal Çiftçibaşı was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ali Kağan Nusret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songur Erzan in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Songur Erzan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ali Kağan Nusret. The goal made the score 2-2. Zekeriya Ercan struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ali Kağan Nusret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babak. Ali Kağan Nusret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Songur Erzan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Emirhan Gündoğan charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emirhan Gündoğan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ali Kağan Nusret had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Güngör Sabih's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 76th minute Güngör Sabih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Kağan Nusret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Kağan Nusret made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Zekeriya Ercan sent off a good shot on target. Songur Erzan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Kağan Nusret having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Babak's Songur Erzan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Kağan Nusret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Serhat Özgunes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Babak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serhat Özgunes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Babak getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Battal Cüneyt Canol hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Babak's Mehmet Ediz Ergener got a free kick in the 94th minute.
