When Abdurrahim Kurtuluş came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ФК Черноморець fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdurrahim Kurtuluş couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Hakkı Şenyaşar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Caner Tefhim. The goal made the score 2-0. Ziya Onur Ongar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ФК Черноморець's zone, Ziya Onur Ongar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hızır Eroğuz came out of the goal and Ziya Onur Ongar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of ФК Черноморець booed when Günesli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ataman Alyakut didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Günesli's zone, Hakkı Şenyaşar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caner Tefhim came out of the goal and Hakkı Şenyaşar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sancarbey Özsevi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Caner Tefhim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hızır Eroğuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziya Onur Ongar, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ziya Onur Ongar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sinan Özercan during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sinan Özercan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ekber Çubuk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ataman Alyakut during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Günesli's Ataman Alyakut got a free kick in the 55th minute. The supporters of ФК Черноморець booed when Günesli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Selimhan Akartürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakkı Şenyaşar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ФК Черноморець's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darryl Hong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Günesli's supporters rose to their feet, but Ziya Onur Ongar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hızır Eroğuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
