The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alacam's Polat Tekinsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batu Niğdeli struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Buğrahan İmdat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alacam. 8 minutes into the game, Sezer Okyay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lions In the Cage's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alacam the free kick. Buğrahan İmdat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batu Niğdeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Cüneyd Özbas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Doğuş Ganim hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Önder Turay kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Lions In the Cage's goal looked a bit too open when Batu Niğdeli came free, but Buğrahan İmdat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Önder Turay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cüneyd Özbas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Lemi Kınay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cüneyd Özbas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes Alacam's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Selçuk Raşit who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Batu Niğdeli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Buğrahan İmdat was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Alacam's Batu Niğdeli got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lions In the Cage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Önder Turay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sezer Okyay hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Batu Niğdeli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celil Yavuz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Cüneyd Özbas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lemi Kınay in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Lemi Kınay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cüneyd Özbas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Halit Fahri Raid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cüneyd Özbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Önder Turay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lemi Kınay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cüneyd Özbas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lemi Kınay went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lions In the Cage had won after a very even match.
