Önder Turay scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beşir Özoğuz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Lemi Kınay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions In the Cage's supporters rose to their feet, but Lemi Kınay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beşir Özoğuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Lemi Kınay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beşir Özoğuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lemi Kınay, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Oğuzcan Beyzade charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oğuzcan Beyzade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Göztepe JK's Oğuzcan Beyzade got a free kick in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yağızalp Bağcı during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yağızalp Bağcı hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Kamer Rauf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gürel Tuncel took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beşir Özoğuz. Beşir Özoğuz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 40 played minutes, Göztepe JK's Nazmi Nesil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Buğrahan İmdat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Göztepe JK reached it. Yağızalp Bağcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Buğrahan İmdat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Yağızalp Bağcı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Göztepe JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şaban Kurceren to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Lions In the Cage's goal looked a bit too open when Gökberk Yürük came free, but Buğrahan İmdat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lemi Kınay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beşir Özoğuz was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. A collision led to Göztepe JK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Tolga Zade hit a great ball. The referee ignored Göztepe JK's protests and gave Şaban Kurceren a yellow card for diving instead. Selçuk Raşit, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lions In the Cage's Umur Çağar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Beşir Özoğuz but with some difficulty. When Vacid Melih fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göztepe JK's protests and gave Vacid Melih a yellow card for diving instead. Vacid Melih hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Lemi Kınay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions In the Cage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lemi Kınay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lemi Kınay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Beşir Özoğuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buğrahan İmdat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökberk Yürük in the 95th minute of play. Lions In the Cage played a much better game than Göztepe JK and deserved their victory. The Göztepe JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
