After 3 minutes, Celil Tandoğdu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horyanspor and the Akseki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Horyanspor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Horyanspor's Nuh Gülle got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuh Gülle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Şansal Nadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şansal Nadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Songurhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Akseki booed when Horyanspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuh Gülle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedrettin Coşan came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Akseki's Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş. But to his dismay, Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 25th minute, Hikmet Baltacı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Horyanspor's Nazil Canbek got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Akseki's goalkeeper Şansal Nadi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Horyanspor's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş came free, but Bedrettin Coşan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Horyanspor's zone, Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedrettin Coşan came out of the goal and Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Yahya Haliloğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Horyanspor defense, Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bedrettin Coşan. The Horyanspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bedrettin Coşan should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bedrettin Coşan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Horyanspor getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hıncal Akdal hit a great ball. Şansal Nadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuz Songurhan in the 65th minute of play. Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hadi Özerol hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Yahya Haliloğlu in the 84th minute of play forced Horyanspor's goalkeeper Bedrettin Coşan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Akseki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Hayri Demirtaş couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Yahya Haliloğlu in the 93rd minute of play forced Horyanspor's goalkeeper Bedrettin Coşan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuh Gülle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şansal Nadi having to interfere.
