Spectators: 7138 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 50) Sorgun's Sadettin Özkan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Refik Halit Tuğsav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seyrani Kurboga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arif Tugay Taşdemir went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Seyrani Kurboga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sadettin Özkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Haşmet Hızlı hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Mümtaz İskender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Haldun Tefhim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Aglasun getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ender Topay hit a great ball. Seyrani Kurboga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sadettin Özkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes, Efe Gazir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sorgun and the Aglasun players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Sorgun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efe Gazir to maneuver through the defense. Arif Tugay Taşdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sorgun's Vehdi Baray got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Ali Ömer Kura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haldun Tefhim skillfully saved the ball.

Sorgun's Haldun Tefhim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümtaz İskender in the 53rd minute of play. Mümtaz İskender might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haldun Tefhim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mümtaz İskender ran back to his position shaking his head. Rahman Özyuva hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sorgun's zone, Mehmet Anıl Akkoyun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haldun Tefhim came out of the goal and Mehmet Anıl Akkoyun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Anıl Akkoyun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haldun Tefhim having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Sorgun got a freekick which was hit by Rahman Özyuva. When Arif Tugay Taşdemir came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Sorgun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Tugay Taşdemir couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Aglasun's goalkeeper Seyrani Kurboga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Tugay Taşdemir. Arif Tugay Taşdemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Seyrani Kurboga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aglasun's zone, Efe Gazir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyrani Kurboga came out of the goal and Efe Gazir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arif Tugay Taşdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Seyrani Kurboga made a huge save. After having played for 87 minutes, Sadettin Özkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorgun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sadettin Özkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sorgun supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sorgun would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
