Cenan Koçubey ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes in the game, İlhami Göktepe fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Yıldıray Yeltekin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cenan Koçubey managed to get in a good position for a shot. DİYARBAKIR DEMİRSPOR FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cenan Koçubey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Ömür Uyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayezit Can, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göksun Tolgan charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göksun Tolgan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bayezit Can received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ahmet Ömür Uyar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Ufuk Totuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ömür Uyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yıldıray Yeltekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenan Koçubey in the 44th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Yıldıray Yeltekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhami Göktepe in the 71st minute of play. Cenan Koçubey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Yeltekin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cenan Koçubey in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yıldıray Yeltekin saved Baskale from getting behind. İlhami Göktepe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yıldıray Yeltekin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DİYARBAKIR DEMİRSPOR FK's Bahattin Akasoy got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DİYARBAKIR DEMİRSPOR FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Baskale had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
