The referee ignored Afyonkarahisar SK's protests and gave Nusret Himmet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Afyonkarahisar SK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Nusret Himmet hit a great ball. Nankatsu's Andaç Erbelgin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Afyonkarahisar SK. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Baran Alp Mutlutekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nankatsu's supporters rose to their feet, but Baran Alp Mutlutekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ataman Ilgın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Behzat Elçi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ataman Ilgın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nankatsu. Ahmet Yahya Özker might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hüsnü Üster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Yahya Özker ran back to his position shaking his head. Cuma Yürük sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ataman Ilgın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Alp Mutlutekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cuma Yürük received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hüsnü Üster came out and tried to block the shot, but Cuma Yürük slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Ataman Ilgın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behzat Elçi in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Afyonkarahisar SK's goalkeeper Ataman Ilgın, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hüsmen Tecer charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hüsmen Tecer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baran Alp Mutlutekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Baran Alp Mutlutekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nankatsu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baran Alp Mutlutekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Behzat Elçi in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ataman Ilgın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ahmet Yahya Özker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüsnü Üster having to interfere. Nankatsu's Hüsnü Üster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cuma Yürük in the 54th minute of play. Hüsnü Üster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cuma Yürük, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alkan Hasret hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ahmet Yahya Özker sped through Nankatsu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hüsnü Üster. 64 minutes into the match, Nankatsu's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Yahya Özker came free, but Hüsnü Üster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuma Yürük fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüsnü Üster having to interfere. Hüsnü Üster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cuma Yürük in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuma Yürük in the 75th minute of play forced Nankatsu's goalkeeper Hüsnü Üster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Yahya Özker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Behzat Elçi managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 88th minute Cuma Yürük shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsnü Üster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuma Yürük struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Hüsnü Üster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Afyonkarahisar SK. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nankatsu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Afyonkarahisar SK.
