In the 23rd minute, Sabanözü's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Haşim Kaptan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ahmet Hayri Oğuralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baybars Sargınal during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baybars Sargınal kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Sabanözü's goalkeeper Suat Gencal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haşim Kaptan. Son Pişmanlık Baba 25's Hasret Avcıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Cahit Hüsrev in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Ali Galip Sonalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sabanözü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Son Pişmanlık Baba 25's zone, Baybars Sargınal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hasret Avcıoğlu came out of the goal and Baybars Sargınal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd match minute, Son Pişmanlık Baba 25 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günalp Ula to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Lemi Gümüşsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabanözü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lemi Gümüşsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hüseyin Cahit Hüsrev was the one to do the kick off. Sabanözü's Suat Gencal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşim Kaptan in the 52nd minute of play. Sabanözü's Lemi Gümüşsoy couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Son Pişmanlık Baba 25. When Baybars Sargınal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. If Ahmet Hayri Oğuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suat Gencal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hayri Oğuralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Sabanözü's goal looked a bit too open when Haşim Kaptan came free, but Suat Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Ahmet Hayri Oğuralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kubat Cesimi's late challenge caught a Son Pişmanlık Baba 25's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kubat Cesimi helped the player get up and apologised. 74 minutes into the game, one of Sabanözü:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Suat Gencal had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Halit Yolaç's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ertaç Özkent was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ahmet Hayri Oğuralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haşim Kaptan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suat Gencal having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Lemi Gümüşsoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabanözü and the Son Pişmanlık Baba 25 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lemi Gümüşsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Güralp Neval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suat Gencal having to interfere. If Güralp Neval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haşim Kaptan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Suat Gencal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
