BEYŞEHİR SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapseki the free kick. BEYŞEHİR SK:s Mithat Yakup showed great skill when he stopped Musa Türkcan:s penalty. Asaf Özden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahri Işıldar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Mehmet Çağrı Kayrahan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mithat Yakup was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd match minute, Lapseki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulki Yerhum to maneuver through the defense. If Ilgaz Taykoç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Ilgaz Taykoç got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ilgaz Taykoç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mithat Yakup having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Mehmet Çağrı Kayrahan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lapseki's Ilgaz Taykoç slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mithat Yakup. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilgaz Taykoç to strike the kick off in the second half. Raik Sezgen hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes in the game, Hilmi Buğra dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Ilgaz Taykoç came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Lapseki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilgaz Taykoç couldn't finish the play. Ilgaz Taykoç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mithat Yakup having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Ilgaz Taykoç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mithat Yakup was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lapseki's Mehmet Çağrı Kayrahan got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 minutes, Ali Kürşat Ökmener mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lapseki and the BEYŞEHİR SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ordered Eser Arkın off the ground. BEYŞEHİR SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapseki the free kick. The supporters of Lapseki booed when BEYŞEHİR SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyyaz Şam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mithat Yakup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilgaz Taykoç in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BEYŞEHİR SK's Ahmet Hamdi Baytüze got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Lapseki got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp. If Mehmet Çağrı Kayrahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Çağrı Kayrahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mithat Yakup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lapseki had played much better football throughout.
