Rüştü Hakim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Faruk Köker having to interfere. Akrepsporu's Ali Faruk Köker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saffet Tengizalp in the 76th minute of play. Ali Faruk Köker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derya Kutbay got free with Ali Faruk Köker in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batıhan Onal in the 98th minute of play forced Kigi's goalkeeper Yalçın Demiray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
