But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Refik Sarvan couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Abdurrahman Temizkal managed to get in a good position for a shot. A hard shot by Gazanfer Erbelgin from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Yavuz Gümüşcüoğlu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ottoman FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
