Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tayyar Ocakoğlu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Sinan Kılıçer had to leave the field with a concussion. 3 minutes into the game, Nuri Orgun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menekse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sürmenespor the free kick. The audience was convinced that Ergün Dilsafa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Asım Toktimur was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After 9 played minutes Menekse got a freekick which was hit by Adil Başsoy. 11 minutes into the match, Menekse's goal looked a bit too open when Hilmi Kutay came free, but Asım Toktimur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ergün Dilsafa took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asım Toktimur. Asım Toktimur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 16 played minutes Sürmenespor got a freekick which was hit by Hilmi Kutay. After 25 played minutes Sürmenespor got a freekick which was hit by Alkan Akgüneş. Menekse's Nuri Orgun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sürmenespor. Ergün Dilsafa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Asım Toktimur having to make a save. In the 35th minute Ergün Dilsafa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asım Toktimur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menekse's Tayyar Ocakoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-4 became the score in the 44th minute when Ergün Dilsafa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Sürmenespor were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ergün Dilsafa made the kick off in the second half. Hilmi Kutay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Asım Toktimur came out and tried to block the shot, but Hilmi Kutay slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Menekse booed when Sürmenespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilmi Kutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilmi Kutay struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Asım Toktimur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sürmenespor. Tayyar Ocakoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tayyar Ocakoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Tayyar Ocakoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ergün Dilsafa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asım Toktimur having to interfere. Edip Turaç hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Tayyar Ocakoğlu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Menekse's Tayyar Ocakoğlu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ferid İstikbal, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Ergün Dilsafa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Asım Toktimur. Ergün Dilsafa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Sürmenespor's zone, Yahya Beşer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erkan Müfit came out of the goal and Yahya Beşer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Ergün Dilsafa took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Asım Toktimur to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Sürmenespor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Menekse.
