Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Recai Öktuğ started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Recai Öktuğ who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gökceyazi JK's Kartal Öğeturk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Derik's Tolga Zafer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kartal Öğeturk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Derik's Tolga Zafer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kartal Öğeturk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Derik's Tolga Zafer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kartal Öğeturk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kartal Öğeturk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolga Zafer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özbek Bilen charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özbek Bilen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Derik booed when Gökceyazi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özbek Bilen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Derik getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ali Numan Karan hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Recai Öktuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nizam Oskay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Tolga Zafer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolga Zafer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kartal Öğeturk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recai Öktuğ in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Nizam Oskay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökceyazi JK's Kartal Öğeturk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recai Öktuğ in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Ahmet Refik Erenoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gökceyazi JK the free kick. Ahmet Refik Erenoz kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Gökceyazi JK's goalkeeper Kartal Öğeturk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolga Zafer. In the 76th minute, Gencer Ortanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Recai Öktuğ left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 80 minutes of play, Derik's Recai Öktuğ made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kartal Öğeturk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kartal Öğeturk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Numan Karan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolga Zafer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kartal Öğeturk having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Derik's Recai Öktuğ slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kartal Öğeturk. That made the score 1-5 after 89 minutes of play. Cüneyd Yergin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Kartal Öğeturk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Derik left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gökceyazi JK.
