Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baysal Özan kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Baysal Özan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Mustafa Karluk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Baysal Özan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Baysal Özan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arif Ozan Ünalan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kozlu Kömürspor's Mehmet Bedri Nefer got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İlhan Peyami made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Tunç Peyami sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Dumlupinar SK's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulkerim Pekiner came free, but Arif Ozan Ünalan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Horia Andronache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Ünalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kozlu Kömürspor booed when Dumlupinar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süruri Murtaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dumlupinar SK's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Ünalan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arif Ozan Ünalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulkerim Pekiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 37 played minutes Dumlupinar SK got a freekick which was hit by Dursun Tokyüz. Kozlu Kömürspor were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Dumlupinar SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horia Andronache took the corner. In the 47th minute, Dumlupinar SK's Süruri Murtaza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Baysal Özan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Arif Ozan Ünalan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dumlupinar SK's Feridun Rafi got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute Baysal Özan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Ünalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Mustafa Karluk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dumlupinar SK and the Kozlu Kömürspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Dumlupinar SK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Karluk. With a little luck, Dumlupinar SK's Arif Ozan Ünalan got control of the ball when Baysal Özan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Süruri Murtaza struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Kozlu Kömürspor defense, Süruri Murtaza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İlhan Peyami. The Kozlu Kömürspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İlhan Peyami should have stopped the shot. In the 86th match minute, Kozlu Kömürspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bedri Nefer to maneuver through the defense. Baysal Özan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Ozan Ünalan having to interfere. Dumlupinar SK's Arif Ozan Ünalan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Dumlupinar SK from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Kozlu Kömürspor's goal looked a bit too open when Süruri Murtaza came free, but İlhan Peyami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Andronache in the 95th minute of play forced Dumlupinar SK's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Ünalan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Kozlu Kömürspor's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kozlu Kömürspor may have spent more time on the ball, but Dumlupinar SK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
