Gürol Cenger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tunç Peyami in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tunç Peyami in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gürol Cenger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tunç Peyami struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Gürol Cenger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dumlupinar SK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tunç Peyami in the 12th minute of play forced Eceabat's goalkeeper Gürol Cenger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Süruri Murtaza made a precise shot to the right of Gürol Cenger. Eceabat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hakkı Özbekkan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Uğur Hacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tunç Peyami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tunç Peyami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürol Cenger having to interfere. Mustafa Karluk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Tunç Peyami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gürol Cenger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tunç Peyami hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Dumlupinar SK's Arif Ozan Ünalan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuralp Seyyid in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Tunç Peyami was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dumlupinar SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eceabat the free kick. The supporters of Eceabat booed when Dumlupinar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tunç Peyami didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tunç Peyami was the one to do the kick off. The long shot by Muzaffer Battal in the 53rd minute really tested Gürol Cenger's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tunç Peyami in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gürol Cenger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tunç Peyamis short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Gürol Cenger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th match minute, Dumlupinar SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Özbekkan to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes, Dursun Tokyüz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dumlupinar SK and the Eceabat players grew even worse after the yellow card.
