Vecdet Yaltırak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onuralp Akkanoğlu in the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MERT Y.İ. After a defensive mix-up in MERT Y.İ. FK's zone, Enginsu Kutsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdet Yaltırak came out of the goal and Enginsu Kutsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, MERT Y.İ. FK's Recep Akçal got a free kick in the 7th minute. Vecdet Yaltırak came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by LegendLions's Onuralp Akkanoğlu. But to his dismay, Onuralp Akkanoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Celal Özkutal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Celal Özkutal notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of MERT Y.İ. FK's Vecdet Yaltırak. Vecdet Yaltırak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vecdet Yaltırak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celal Özkutal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes of play, LegendLions's Onuralp Akkanoğlu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vecdet Yaltırak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Recep Akçal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kutay Sertaçgil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Namık Uzkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdet Yaltırak having to interfere. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Onuralp Akkanoğlu sped through MERT Y.İ. FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vecdet Yaltırak. Anıl Ozan Oksar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Onuralp Akkanoğlu made the kick off in the second half. Vecdet Yaltırak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onuralp Akkanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Osman Ali Talaykan charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osman Ali Talaykan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Vecdet Yaltırak, was totally fooled by LegendLions's Emirhan Hızlı, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 61 played minutes, LegendLions's Ceyhan Yusuf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vecdet Yaltırak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LegendLions reached it. If Onuralp Akkanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Recep Yatuk hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Onuralp Akkanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Onuralp Akkanoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vecdet Yaltırak was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Celal Özkutal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vecdet Yaltırak having to make a save.
