Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ahmet Harun Nazır took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Öküzalispor's Ahmet Reha Albayrak got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Rasim Çağaçar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umur Sağıt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Çelikan Durukan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Rasim Çağaçar rounded Öküzalispor's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Şeref Atay charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şeref Atay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Öküzalispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şeref Atay to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Öküzalispor's Çelikan Durukan got control of the ball when Umur Sağıt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pekin Duyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Ahmet Harun Nazır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İstemihan Taşan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Pekin Duyar came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Öküzalispor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pekin Duyar couldn't finish the play. Rasim Çağaçar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Çelikan Durukan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasim Çağaçar in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Öküzalispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sungurhan Zeval to maneuver through the defense. Berat Sabahaddin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Çelikan Durukan. Öküzalispor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rasim Çağaçar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, GALATASARAY's Rasim Çağaçar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Pekin Duyar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İstemihan Taşan came out of the goal and Pekin Duyar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rasim Çağaçar to make the kick off. Pekin Duyar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of İstemihan Taşan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Öküzalispor's Pekin Duyar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of İstemihan Taşan. That made the score 2-2 after 57 minutes of play. Sungurhan Zeval hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of Öküzalispor booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güven Zeval didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rasim Çağaçar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sungurhan Zeval hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Rasim Çağaçar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çelikan Durukan having to interfere. İstemihan Taşan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Harun Nazır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Edip Uçbay kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. GALATASARAY's Rasim Çağaçar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Umur Sağıt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Çelikan Durukan was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Rasim Çağaçar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Çelikan Durukan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GALATASARAY walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
