The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. RedBull Energy's Selman Acunman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Ediz Bağışhan in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Mazhar Akansel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tayyar İnceman. Cumra SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mazhar Akansel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mehmet Ediz Bağışhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emin Artuç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, RedBull Energy's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Ediz Bağışhan came free, but Selman Acunman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selman Acunman came out of the goal and Mehmet Ediz Bağışhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emin Artuç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emin Artuç to make the kick off. Tuna Toprak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tayyar İnceman having to make a save. 59 minutes into the match, Cumra SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mazhar Akansel came free, but Tayyar İnceman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tuna Toprak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mazhar Akansel in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tayyar İnceman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Cumra SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tuna Toprak came free, but Tayyar İnceman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cumra SK booed when RedBull Energy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şimşek Yarkın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selman Acunman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emin Artuç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
