Bahadırhan Renan charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bahadırhan Renan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Selman Acunman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 47 minutes, Mazhar Akansel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RedBull Energy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazhar Akansel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuna Toprak was the one to do the kick off. Olcay Pakkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Selman Acunman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 84th minute of the match Yavuzalp Çol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şentürk Tümerkan skillfully saved the ball. Olcay Pakkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selman Acunman having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Mehmet Efe Kutcan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Selman Acunman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Heybeliada played a much better game than RedBull Energy and deserved their victory. The RedBull Energy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
