Ertunç Fırıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özen Reşan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bartın Sk's zone, Ertunç Fırıncı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özen Reşan came out of the goal and Ertunç Fırıncı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartın Sk's Özen Reşan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazhar Karabulut in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Özdemir Koytan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Ertunç Fırıncı got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 21 minutes into the game, Yusuf Ziya Ungan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bartın Sk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kücükbakkalköy JK the free kick. A collision led to Bartın Sk getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Özdemir Koytan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bartın Sk's supporters rose to their feet, but Özdemir Koytan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eşref Günaydın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Özdemir Koytan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eşref Günaydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Halis İnegöllü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eşref Günaydın having to interfere. Ertunç Fırıncı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ertunç Fırıncı in the 49thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Özen Reşan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mazhar Karabulut was the one to do the kick off.
