Semavi Metin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atahan Durusan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Kadri Akmaner got a free kick in the 20th minute. Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Balamir Sarif proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Kadıköy Futbol Klübü from getting a goal against them. Enes Kutunalp hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ahmet Hafiz Özbilen's late challenge caught a Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Hafiz Özbilen helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 28 minutes, Semavi Metin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Semavi Metin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Semavi Metin, in the 30th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Kadıköy Futbol Klübü. Atahan Durusan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fehmi Tonguç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Semavi Metin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Dazkiri JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kadıköy Futbol Klübü:s goal. Cuma Özsu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Dazkiri JK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Şensoy Karasu hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Cuma Özsu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dazkiri JK's Atahan Durusan didn't even have to move. If Semavi Metin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Batıray Özgan made the kick off in the second half. Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Balamir Sarif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güralp Bayazid in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Dazkiri JK's goalkeeper Atahan Durusan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fehmi Tonguç. Atahan Durusan made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Fehmi Tonguç sent off a good shot on target. Semavi Metin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atahan Durusan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute Semavi Metin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Durusan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fehmi Tonguç got free with Atahan Durusan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the game, Şükrü Ergüvenç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dazkiri JK the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kadıköy Futbol Klübü fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Batıray Özgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Balamir Sarif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batıray Özgan in the 85th minute of play. Semavi Metin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Güntekin Durualp fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's protests and gave Güntekin Durualp a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Kadıköy Futbol Klübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güntekin Durualp to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's zone, Batıray Özgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balamir Sarif came out of the goal and Batıray Özgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Balamir Sarif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güralp Bayazid in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Dazkiri JK booed when Kadıköy Futbol Klübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadri Akmaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atahan Durusan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semavi Metin in the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's goal looked a bit too open when Batıray Özgan came free, but Balamir Sarif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dazkiri JK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kadıköy Futbol Klübü had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
