The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nejat Alp Şentürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Uğursay having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Ahmet Nafiz İstanbullu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kemer SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Konyaspor the free kick. Ahmet Nafiz İstanbullu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Dursun Kayrar fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kemer SK's protests and gave Dursun Kayrar a yellow card for diving instead. Dursun Kayrar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Yasin Bekir showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 32 minutes, Balamir Kantara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kemer SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balamir Kantara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konyaspor's Buğrahan Baroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balamir Kantara in the 35th minute of play. Kutalp Şensoy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Buğrahan Baroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balamir Kantara, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Konyaspor's Buğrahan Baroğlu got control of the ball when Kutlu Oğuzata tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Balamir Kantara was the one to do the kick off. Mirkelam Özonder struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Habib Uğursay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Konyaspor. The supporters of Kemer SK booed when Konyaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baransel Aurelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buğrahan Baroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutlu Oğuzata in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balamir Kantara in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buğrahan Baroğlu saved Konyaspor from getting behind. Nejat Alp Şentürk was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Konyaspor's Buğrahan Baroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Arif Egelioğlu in the 87th minute of play. When Balamir Kantara came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Kemer SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balamir Kantara couldn't finish the play. 2-0 became the score in the 96th minute when Balamir Kantara elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Konyaspor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
