Vahdet Esendağ's late challenge caught a Afyon SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahdet Esendağ helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Afyon SK booed when Dream FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vahdet Esendağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güntekin Yıldızhan made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Vahdet Esendağ sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Dream FK booed when Afyon SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafettin Aytuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulvi Tanju hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Özen Mukaddes came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Afyon SK's Gürcan Ayvazoğlu. But to his dismay, Gürcan Ayvazoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 23rdth minute of the game Gürcan Ayvazoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dream FK's Özen Mukaddes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Dream FK's goal looked a bit too open when Nurtekin Özal came free, but Özen Mukaddes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdulbaki Karataş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nurtekin Özal came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Afyon SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nurtekin Özal couldn't finish the play. Özen Mukaddes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürcan Ayvazoğlu in the 36th minute of the match. Nurtekin Özal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Güntekin Yıldızhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vahdet Esendağ in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Abdulbaki Karataş made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Nurtekin Özal notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Dream FK's Özen Mukaddes. Özen Mukaddes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Abdulbaki Karataş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dream FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulbaki Karataş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güntekin Yıldızhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Nurtekin Özal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 74 minutes into the match, Dream FK's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğitcan Saik came free, but Özen Mukaddes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afyon SK's Güntekin Yıldızhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahdet Esendağ in the 75th minute of play. Abdulbaki Karataş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güntekin Yıldızhan having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Nurtekin Özal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vahdet Esendağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Ulvi Tanju managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dream FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulvi Tanju was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute Vahdet Esendağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güntekin Yıldızhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Dream FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burak Gülsoy to maneuver through the defense. The Dream FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Afyon SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Afyon SK.
