The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. PLATON's Ahmet Ömür Pakkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hayri İltemur in the 6th minute of play. Barlas Işınbay kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Dragos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cumali Eyüpoğlu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dragos's zone, Bozkurt Ergül stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baha Ulum came out of the goal and Bozkurt Ergül tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ersin Pekol's late challenge caught a PLATON's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ersin Pekol helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dragos's Ersin Pekol got a free kick in the 47th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enis Behiç Yakup stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Dragos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nejat Tanyel hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enis Behiç Yakup in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baha Ulum saved Dragos from getting behind. Ahmet Murtaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Hakkı Ekabir kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Suphi Coşkunsu during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, PLATON's Ahmet Ömür Pakkan got control of the ball when Ahmet Murtaza tried to sneak it across the goal line.
