After having played for 22 minutes, Balaban Keçili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beyazit SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balaban Keçili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oğuzcan Patlar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökalp Tecelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Taksim SK's Denizhan Bayer got a free kick in the 24th minute. Balaban Keçili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzcan Patlar having to interfere. Denizhan Bayer hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Kayhan Koçaş kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gökalp Tecelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Beyazit SK were furious when Gökçek Ortan was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Beyazit SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Taksim SK:s goal. If Mustafa Arif Çağlar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nurkan Berat in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cafer Baykut saved Beyazit SK from getting behind. Cafer Baykut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Arif Çağlar, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Taksim SK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Balaban Keçili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nurkan Berat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ali Kaan Bir fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beyazit SK's protests and gave Ali Kaan Bir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Ali Kaan Bir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mustafa Arif Çağlar came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Taksim SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Arif Çağlar couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Balaban Keçili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 minutes of play Taksim SK's Kayhan Koçaş was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oğuzcan Patlar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mümtaz Karahan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balaban Keçili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denizhan Bayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cafer Baykut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Beyazit SK booed when Taksim SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necip Paksoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
