Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hayati Balkanlıoğlu started the match with the kick off. Altuğ Ünlüer made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Mithat Canver sent off a good shot on target. Bilgin Karin kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Hüseyin Can Dersu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sedat İstanbullu's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Barış Ilgın in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüseyin Can Dersu saved Gülnar from getting behind. 18 minutes into the game, Nusret Ferhat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kumsal SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gülnar the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Kumsal SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gülnar:s goal. Altuğ Ünlüer went to the wrong direction when Yalçın Uzma was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Kumsal SK's goalkeeper Altuğ Ünlüer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mithat Canver. Kumsal SK's Şahin Kayhan got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şahin Kayhan struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Hüseyin Can Dersu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kumsal SK. After 29 played minutes Kumsal SK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Barış Ilgın. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Barış Ilgın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hüseyin Can Dersu was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. A collision led to Kumsal SK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nusret Ferhat hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kumsal SK's zone, Hayati Balkanlıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Altuğ Ünlüer came out of the goal and Hayati Balkanlıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Altuğ Ünlüer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayati Balkanlıoğlu in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute Hayati Balkanlıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altuğ Ünlüer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute Mustafa Barış Ilgın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Can Dersu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gülnar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kumsal SK were winning 0-1.

Kumsal SK's Altuğ Ünlüer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayati Balkanlıoğlu in the 51st minute of play. After 63 minutes, Mustafa Barış Ilgın made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Gülnar's Hüseyin Can Dersu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hüseyin Can Dersu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ali Güralp Hatipoğlu. Hüseyin Can Dersu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürsel Cevan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Mustafa Barış Ilgın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Gülnar's Mithat Canver made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Altuğ Ünlüer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mithat Canver came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Gülnar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mithat Canver couldn't finish the play. Hayati Balkanlıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Barış Ilgın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Can Dersu having to interfere. When Saffet Kıvılcım came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Kumsal SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saffet Kıvılcım couldn't finish the play. The Kumsal SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kumsal SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
