Melik Recai kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, İsrafil Işıldar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erberk Maksut in the 27th minute of play forced Kale SK's goalkeeper Egemen Ahıska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Şefik Çetintürk's late challenge caught a Tophane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kale SK's goalkeeper Egemen Ahıska, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erdinç İzgi struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Egemen Ahıska didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tophane. Erdinç İzgi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Egemen Ahıska tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erberk Maksut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egemen Ahıska having to interfere. The Kale SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tophane were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
