Vahit Baytugay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Turan Ayık came out and tried to block the shot, but Vahit Baytugay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, DENİZ Efe Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Erbatur Yöntem came free, but Ahmet Turan Ayık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ahmet Davut Yasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, Celil Perkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vefa Bilgin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Aybars Sabancı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aybars Sabancı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Davut Yasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When DENİZ Efe Spor's Ahmet Davut Yasun in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elmali's goalie prevented a goal. Ahmet Davut Yasun might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aybars Sabancı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Davut Yasun ran back to his position shaking his head. Vefa Bilgin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ahmet Turan Ayık showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sait Balcıoğlu in the 51st minute of the match. When Talha Türkoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DENİZ Efe Spor's protests and gave Talha Türkoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Talha Türkoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes DENİZ Efe Spor got a freekick which was hit by Talha Türkoğlu. In the 62nd match minute, Elmali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sait Balcıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Ahmet Davut Yasun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ahmet Davut Yasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Turan Ayık showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahit Baytugay, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ahmet Davut Yasun struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Aybars Sabancı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DENİZ Efe Spor. After a rather tough play, DENİZ Efe Spor's Talha Türkoğlu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ahmet Turan Ayık took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erbatur Yöntem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Davut Yasun took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aybars Sabancı. Aybars Sabancı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Ahmet Davut Yasun came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the DENİZ Efe Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Davut Yasun couldn't finish the play. When Ahmet Davut Yasun, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 93 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aybars Sabancı was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Talha Türkoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
