Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gökçek Özbala took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gökçek Özbala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Aybars Sabancı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sait Balcıoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sait Balcıoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Sait Balcıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 minutes of play Elmali's Sait Balcıoğlu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Earen booed when Elmali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sait Balcıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Earen's Giray Yalçınkaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aybars Sabancı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Erbatur Yöntem's late challenge caught a Earen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erbatur Yöntem helped the player get up and apologised. Erbatur Yöntem hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Aybars Sabancı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçek Özbala in the 21st minute of play. During the 22nd minute of the match Erbatur Yöntem completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erbatur Yöntem a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Elmali's Erbatur Yöntem got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Elmali got a freekick which was hit by Vahit Baytugay. 25 minutes into the match, Elmali's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Seyfi Safa came free, but Aybars Sabancı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Ahmet Seyfi Safa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Vahit Baytugay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sarp Sidar. Vahit Baytugay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celil Perkin made a kick off. Aybars Sabancı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giray Yalçınkaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aybars Sabancı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçek Özbala in the 57th minute of play. If Ahmet Seyfi Safa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Elmali's Vahit Baytugay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sarp Sidar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ahmet Seyfi Safa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hatemi Onurkan fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elmali's protests and gave Hatemi Onurkan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Vahit Baytugay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gökçek Özbala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Aybars Sabancı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
